Program overview
Our summer youth paddling program (U12/U14/U16/U18) runs from May 6 to September 14, 2024, on Mondays and Wednesdays from 5:00 pm to 7:30 pm**.
Through this program, young participants will deepen their skills in kayaking, outrigger canoeing, and dragon boating. They are encouraged to make connections and transfer their abilities from one sport to another.
Given that safety is our top priority, participants will learn essential water safety skills, equipping them with the knowledge and confidence to navigate various water environments safely. They will also be encouraged to develop and adopt safe training habits and behaviors.
This program includes dryland drills, on-land and on-water workouts, dragon boat races, in-club races, fun days, and open-water swimming lessons. First-year paddlers follow the Canoe Kids
Throughout the program, participants will embark on an exciting journey where they will:
- Learn with a positive and holistic approach.
- Receive individual and personalized coaching time.
- Develop water safety skills and awareness.
- Become skilled and versatile paddlers.
- Develop a lifelong love for paddling.
