Safety:
Our top priority is to run a safe event for all participants, volunteers & spectators! All staff and volunteers are required to have, and able to perform, the proper qualifications. Participants are required to wear an approved life jacket, which will be available, and a motorized safety boat with a person trained in First Aid will be used at all times. Enhanced disinfecting will be performed on commonly touched surfaces & hand sanitizer stations will be available. We will be working with the Huron Perth Public Health Unit to ensure the necessary Covid-19 procedures are in place. Do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions or concerns!
Event Rules:
In the interest of everyone having a safe & enjoyable day everyone is expected to follow some general rules such as cleaning up after ourselves, controlling pets and no alcohol. Guests are also subject to the Upper Thames River Conservation Authority’s rules which can be found on their website. Coaches, team captains and interested participants should read the race rules and have a basic understanding. Important topics will be reviewed before the races at the captains meeting!
